Three Different Courses to Enjoy

Lely Resort offers three different courses to enjoy: The Mustang, The Flamingo Island, and The Classics. Opened in 1996 and designed by Lee Trevino, The Mustang is a challenging golf course made for the regular golfer. This 7,230-yard golf course offers a beautiful backdrop of 12 lakes, rolling green land, and South Florida’s marshlands.

The Flamingo was designed by one of golf’s masters, Robert Trent Jones, Sr. This is considered one of Naples’s signature public golf courses. This 7,095-yard course features sculpted hourglass fairways that are outlined by white sand bunkers. Large Bermuda grass accents are located throughout the course while water offers a serene backdrop. The course has multiple teeing stations. One of the unique features of this course is the signature hole, a par 3, 200-yard Hole 5. This particular hole is exceptionally designed with a curved fairway that is completely surrounded by water and bunkers on one side and two small bridges as a connection to the mainland. This golf course combines the best of creative design with natural beauty.

Designed by Gary Player, The Classics golf course is a nod to the traditional golf courses. This course offers 6,714-yards of rolling greens that are accented by palm trees and tropical vegetation. The Classics is the centerpiece of the Classics Country Club at Lely Resort. The Classics had the distinguished honor of hosting the Senior PGA tour event The ACE Classic.
